Booking

During these times of uncertainty we are being flexible with bookings. If you are unable to travel due to restrictions or a lockdown where you live or if we are not open due to restrictions or a lockdown, we will offer you the opportunity to change your holiday dates. If this is not possible we will give a full refund. If you can not travel due to illness including COVID-19 or you are required to self isolate, this needs to be covered by your own holiday insurance.

Precautions

During the COVID-19 pandemic we are working very hard to keep our guests or staff safe as possible. We have fully risk assessed the site and have been awarded the We're Good To Go logo by Visit England. We are members of PASC and are following their approved cleaning guidelines. On arrival in the cottage you will find the completed cleaning check list which you can view here. 

 

Your cottage will have been deep cleaned and surfaces and touch points will have been disinfected with a hospital grade disinfectant. 

Other changes we have introduced;

  • There is hand sanitiser on the gate post for each cottage, please use each time you enter and maintain good hand hygiene during your stay.

  • Your welcome hamper is in a washable container and the produce is all sealed and shop bought. 

  • The tourist information leaflets are single use.

  • The information folders all have wipeable sleeves and have been disinfected

  • You will find disposable gloves and cloths and cleaning products under the utility sink for your use during your stay. The mop cloth is clean and washable, if used please leave in sink for washing on departure, please don’t throw away!

 

If you feel ill

If you become unwell during your stay or start to display symptoms of Covid-19 we ask that you travel back home as soon as possible, as self-isolation in the cottages is not permitted. We strongly advise you travel while you are still well enough to do so. Anyone staying past their rental period will have to meet full costs of rent, enhanced cleaning and any other additional expenses. 

 

Shared facilities

We ask that you practice social distancing around the grounds and pathways. There is plenty of space so this shouldn’t be too difficult! 

On departure - we need a little help!

We are taking measures to protect our cleaning team from Covid 19 and are asking guests to help by carrying out a few simple tasks. The details can be found in the guest book in the cottage.

We thank all our guests for their cooperation and help during this time and we hope that the measures we are taking are reassuring.
