Whether you are staying with us for a family holiday, a short break or for a special celebration here are our top 10 things to do at this time of year from East Trenean Farm.
Hunt for eggs around the grounds and gardens of your cottage. We will supply the eggs and provide the baskets and egg containers for you to hide and let the children (and grown ups!) enjoy finding them.
Feed the hens here on the farm.
Take part in the Easter Sunday Fun Egg Hunt on the beach.
Visit Lanhydrock NT, the gardens are full blooms at spring time with magnolia trees and rhododendrons. At Easter there are activities for all the family in the grounds including egg hunts. Later in Spring there are woods full of bluebells.
Visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan for special events at Easter and spring including visiting the farm animals including the new born lambs. The gardens have trials for the blooming camellias and rhododendrons during spring.
Visit the Eden Project for their Springfest
Visit Cotehele NT for spring events and walk the trial along the River Tamar to Callstock.
Beaches and walking the SW Coast Path. There are spectacular views from the coast path and our beaches are much quieter, making it a beautiful time of year to explore. iWalk Cornwall provides walking routes packed with local history and nature information.
Visit the bluebell woods in the Looe valley, Lanhydrock NT, Cardinham and Idless Woods.
Hire a self drive boat and explore the River Looe from a different view point getting up close to nature and places you can only reach on the water.
